Featuring Chicago house legend Mike Dunn (Defected/Nervous Records), Toronto house pioneer Nick Holder (DNH Records), and one of Toronto's most respected selectors Jason Palma (Higher Ground on CIUT).

A true pioneer of Chicago house, Mike Dunn has spent four decades shaping the sound as a DJ, producer, vocalist, and songwriter. From classics like Magic Feet, God Made Me Phunky, and Phreaky MF, his funk-driven productions continue to inspire generations of house music lovers.

A cornerstone of Toronto's underground dance scene, Nick Holder is a legendary DJ, producer, and founder of DNH Records. With a career spanning over 40 years, his deep, soulful house sound has produced timeless anthems including Summer Daze, Dance, Dance, Dance, and The Love Frequency.

Considered one of Toronto's most respected DJs, Jason Palma has been pushing the groove for decades through his acclaimed weekly radio show Higher Ground on CIUT 89.5 FM . A fixture in the city's music scene, Jason has brought his signature sound to countless parties and dance floors across Toronto and beyond.

A respected fixture in Toronto's dance music community, Sharon R. is known for her fearless and soulful approach behind the decks. Specializing in deep house, soulful house, and disco, she crafts sets filled with warm grooves, uplifting energy, and timeless rhythms that connect deeply with the dance floor.

Joe Rizla has spent more than 30 years delivering the soulful sounds of deep and underground house music. Joe helped shape the city's dance music culture through his influential work on The F.E.A.R. EDIT radio show and as a driving force behind legendary after-hours events including Phat Black Pussykat and Foundation. Renowned for his impeccable taste and smooth mixing, Joe continues to inspire dancers and music lovers with sets rooted in authenticity, soul, and decades of experience.

Rooted in community and driven by passion, Beat Therapy is a grassroots house music event that brings together dancers, DJs, and music lovers from all walks of life. Every month, we showcase an eclectic blend of sounds from across the spectrum, including jackin, soulful, and funky house to classic, tribal and tech, all curated by a mix of rising local talent and internationally respected DJs.
